First time shooting it. shot at maybe 100m and barely missed. missed when I shot one after another fast.

few different items watermelon easy. apple easy. cantelope easy. toonie hard but grouped and hit. Iron sights by the way. I have used more accurate rifles in the army but this is great for now. pop cans other small things

I would have liked to get the explosion of the melon because it sure did explode lol but my lens is not big enough. and i did not want my girlfriend in a danger zone

Hee Hee! Nice guy....To even have the thought of having the girlfriend up close to the watermelon with the camera, you just admitted that the thought crossed your mind! It was good though that you had the presence of mind not too. From the angle of the shot, I'm surprised that the brass did not give her a startle landing onto open cleavage.

Not only is it dangerous, like you said, but also not good for any hope of nooky later!

It just a stock norinco no mods. Yet. Ya I'm not shooting there anymore I need to find crown land closer to me I'm in Oshawa. Good crown land I'm afraid to go a first time by myself and do something wron or shoot in a bad spot.

Personal experience?
Last I checked the Ont R, or as you call it (Canadian Army Recon) doesn't have access to any of that kit. Obviously you did not make any kind of informed decision on what works best. Weren't you taught to stay in your lane and only talk about things you have actual experience with?

On another note....
Enjoy your M14.
