Holy! I just found another use for .460 WBY brass!

The centerpiece of my collection is the infamous babykilling copkiller ultrahighpowered sniper-50-cal-12ga .460 Weatherby case of doom. It has been fired once and features a punched primer.

I was tossing it between my fingers and then I noticed there was some dirt on the mouth. So, holding it with my fingers at the belt I blew it away.

To my eternal amazement I was rewarded with a sharp and extremely loud *tweeeet!* It's not only surprisingly loud but it's quite flutey as well.

I'm going to see if I can get a bunch of these things and turn them into musical instruments by filling them with varying amounts of water. I'll let you know how it sounds, pun intended.

Hah! Well, if I could find some more I could probably create a sort of 'pan flute.'

.50BMG brass would probably be better, though. I tried it with some .458 Winchester Magnum brass and a few others I've got in my (meagre) collection. .223 it's impossible, .308 barely creates any sound at all, and I can't find my .378 brass, but the .460 definitely works.

Who knows? Maybe I could build a guitar out of a rifle. .

I think I'll take Todbartell's advice and go with a .22 first before I step up and lay the cash down for that big ol' A-Square Hannibal or that Mark V Deluxe.
