Decided to make my own annealer from one from YouTube.

Really happy with the results. Considering a factory made runs $400-$2000

What did you use as pan/drum? Where did you get it?

The pan/drum is from Homesense, made but Fat Daddio 5”. $10

Looks great! Building a DIY annealing unit is on my to-do list for 2019.

Did you use Tempilaq to determine the motor speed required for proper annealing?
How is the neck tension on your annealed cases?

Yes I used 750 tempilaq. Haven’t had any issues with neck tension after sizing the neck.

I purchased most everything the same as him.

Drive mechanism is a 12v low rpm motor.

I built one of these. It works. The electrical parts come from the slow boat from China. The pan from Bulk Barn or Walmart. Tempilaq is your friend. Different calibres require different speeds and the Tempilaq is your guide. It does take some fiddling but is OK if you like to build things.
If I had to do it again, I'd go the salt bath annealing route. That's just me.

I built one. They work ok. But I bought a bench source now.
If anyone wants the one I built. Send me a pm. It may not be worthwhile to ship it.
