Home made goose decoys

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share thier ideas on building your own canada goose decoys. I work away from home alot and thought this might be a way to spend some evenings and also get ready for goose season.

I made snow goose silhouettes out of old election signs.

Yesterday I saw a whole bunch of young kids together on a field trip. Maybe dress them up as geese and take them for a field trip, teach them about geese habitat and geese behaviour - can maybe even call the geese for you and if you're successful follow it up with an anatomy lesson/dissection. Just make sure they signed waiver forms.

well I have seen a few simple things work on geese. Black Garbage bags tied to sticks floating in the wind in a corn field. White Javex bottle paint half black and held down by rope floating in the water. Those both work.
