i feel like the old thread got a bit cluttered, so here is a link to the start of the project, and i'll just pick up where i left off on this thread.

so since the last updates, i have shaped it to where i like everything. i had grizzely gunworks install a oversized bolt knob, custom made pillars. i have bedded the action in devcon (what a pain in the ass!!) everything fits nice and snug, i'm pretty impressed with myself in how straight and square everything has ended up. i have also installed a timney trigger, and purchased a sightron 8x32x56 LRMOA in nightforce ultralight rings. the bedding job turned out pretty good, its nice and smooth and fits really snug. the discoloration is because i used shoe polish as a release agent.

i wanted to get out to shoot it before i did any of the final finishing because there were small tweeks here and there to do. so heres where i'm sitting at now.

this was a 5 shot group with hornady 53gr superformance factory ammo, dropped the 3rd shot, before the stock and the trigger i was hard pressed to get 1" groups, let alone 4 so tight.

list of tools used:

dremel
dremel sanding drums in a cordless drill
band saw
grinder with sanding disk
table saw
router

thats all i really used. i used the dremel for 80% of the project. all the shaping was done with a grinder. the interior of the stock was done with a take off bit on the dremel.

i would not build another one. it was def fun, and i only have maybe 250$ total in material and tools including having the gunsmith put pillars in. total time is probly in the 40-50 hour range.
