Just picked up my 1022 Takedown from Grouse River,Kelowna.
Placed an order on Monday and it came in Wednesday!
Whoo Hoo! Did I ever luck out.....

I took mine out last Monday and it's just as accurate as any other small barrel 10/22. It is much lighter though.

I saw that grouse river had them but as I was going through to place the order online, the shipping quote came up as over $50........cancelled my order then.

Me too, for my scope from them the shipping was $5. Are you sure you didn't click express or priority post instead of regular post?

I called them today to find out about availability. They said they got 15 in last monday (unexpectedly), but are all gone now. You can place a preorder/backorder with them online or over the phone as they hope to get more sometime eventually (pretty much like everyone else). I will say that the girl on the phone was very nice and helpful!

I have a feeling some will show up in AB right away, as I can't seem find anywhere that has gotten them here as of yet.

Very Impressed

Wow!
Had a chance to go to the range today with the 1022 TD and was I ever impressed with it. Had a 3/4" grouping consistently at 35yrds with open sights after taking it apart and putting back together to see if the accuracy would change. It didn't!......

The only issue I had was with the front sight being brass that it was hard to see on a black target, but that is an easy fix with some red nail polish.

Ruger defiantly has a winner here!
