This is a Co2 piercing plate I made for a crossman 357 pellet gun I bought, because the factory breaker collapsed in on itself after a week. I used a grade 8 bolt for stock and first drilled a small hole dead center in the head, then chucked the bolt in a drill locked in my bench vise as a makeshift lathe and ground the piece to shape a steep peak around the hole with an angle grinder and files, then cut it off thin and polished it up. Works better than new and should last for years.

The piece in the center is the breaker and it sits behind the gas seal.

ive had one of those guns for 25 years now.....

used the heck out of it as a kid

when i put co2 into it now you can always hear a little leak.

shortly after i got it the plastic hook that rotates the chamer wore down a bit so you always have to manually line up the chamber for each round before you fired

and the metal hook that you push down to open the break-action, right where the barrel half of the gun slides up over the "hook" part of the metal, that wore down now so its dosent hold the gun in 1 piece firm like it should.

This is after 100s and 100s of hours use mind you.

just fyi
