HongKong police winchester M1 Carbine

I bought few years ago, a m1 carbine as a postwar production. On The trigger guard and The bayonet lug, its marked HKP. I now learned that this is the marking for the HongKong police. I found today, under The rear sight, that the receiver is marked Winchester. So Its a ww2 production rifle, or at least the receiver. Someone have more info on The history and value of this HKP Winchester m1 carbine? I was thinking selling it, but now seem enough interesting to keep it.

It most likely has not only a USGI receiver, but a mix of GI parts, from post WWII rebuild.
