Up until this spring I was a fan of Hornady ammo I had a missfire round while hunting yotes and emailed customer service, they insisted it must have been user error and asked me to send the round to them with the lot number. I looked at the primer and it was a good strike, I then safely disposed of it (def not going to mail it to hornady!!) sent the lot # and assured them it was not user error.
Their last reply was that they had no issues with that lot and they were not going to stand behind their product at all. I then sent them an email to tell them what I think of their customer service, I was not looking for a case of ammo just a sorry and a box of shells, and nothing!!!!! I was at fault I guess.
so I was at the range shooting of the last few rounds of Hornady .204 as I will never buy there ammo again and click no bang! wait 30 sec click and no bang same round in my TC single shot encore, good primer strike dud round.
obviously bad primers as Hornady customer service is a joke I posted here to see if other members had similar experiences.
