Not really but I'm having a real hard time finding some factory match ammunition for 223. I could use some 70, 77, or even 80gr bullets if you could get some. Lapua would be nice...

Exactly, that's why some with 1:8, or1:7 might want something heavier.

Like me! I've got a 7" twist and no heavy projectiles to put through it until I get set up to reload....

If anyone knows of a vendor that sells heavy 223 pleae let me know (Hirsch is out until May I think)...

I have not tried Hornady 60 gr TAP but my 1-10" Olympic Arms with a heavy ultra-match barrel works fine to 300 m with Berger 62 gr match bullets as well as with 62 gr FMJBT. No indication of inadequate stabilization. Is the length of the TAP so much longer than any other 60 gr match bullet that requires faster twist?

Second thing: I meant to say that since 75gr is marginally stable in 1-9, 60gr is perfect for the rest of us!
