hornady 30-06 light mag.

I have a tikka t3 stainless in 30-06... and I wanna know if the hornady 30-06 light mag. ammo are made to use in standard rifles like I have....

Is it safe and does it hurt my barrel more than other ammo....

it is loaded to shoot a little faster than regular 30-06 but is safe to use in a modern firearm
in 308 there is distinctively more "oomph" than regular 308 that is for sure...

Yup, just fine to use in a modern bolt gun, in good repair.

I've fired them in my Win Model 70 in 30-06. They are warm.....appreciably more recoil than even my heavier handloads. Primers show signs of pressure, but not excessive signs, just some flattening. Good accuracy and performance though.....
