If we had a varmint-hunting sub forum, I'd have to think this question might be met with some interest...however...I'll try anyway. :) I've been doing some reading on these and would like to try them in my .223. Maybe too light for the fast twist, but the consensus seems to be that they hold together even when loaded relatively hot. Anyhow, I've fired off a few emails looking for it...my LGS said they could get it a few weeks ago, no action there yet.. Wondering if anyone has used them, has seen them on the shelf somewhere in Canada, how they shoot (and what's your rate of twist?) etc.

Thanks!

I use them in my 22Khornet and really like them. Have used 35gr V-Max for years but have found the NTX is slightly more accurate but just as devastating on gophers. Also a nicely shaped little bullet that allows a lengthened OAL which I find can be important when trying to tweek accuracy.
I have two 22khornets and both are single shots. Tend to buy 1000 at a time of both V-Max and NTX during spring/summer for gopher shoots.

For the 223, I use 53gr V-Max. Have found the lighter 35gr are very inconsistent and inaccurate but didn't waste too much time on them as the 53gr was very accurate.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, the 53gr. V-Max are great in my 223, with 55gr. a very close second. Just curious to see how these shoot...just have to try them!
