Hornady's website says steel case. Its identical to there zombie stuff except with a red tip....

Strange, all of the Hornady zombie .308 I bought was all reloadable brass.

I shot off about 3 boxes of this stuff a couple weekends ago.
I found it reliable even in the -22 we were dealing with.
Excellent effect on target. Turned a "Bread Nut" inside-out at 100yrds.

I didn't know what a breadnut was, just bought it because it has an interesting shape. Turns out, they're almost flesh-like on the inside.
