Does anybody have one of these units that they have use for a while. My old Lyman DPS 11 with a 3 upgrade has finally, after 15 years & many thousands of charge deliveries has started to throw charge weight #'s all over the place.

I can find a few YouTube vids that show an unboxing & throwing a few charges and the guy proclaims them a "vast improvement over anything else he has used" and that might be appropriate for a $50 purchase but, too me. I'd like a more extensive usage test report for a $450 purchase.

mmmm....must be selling like hot cakes

I did find a written report from a fellow that had used one for a bit and mostly good reports from him.

I did , also watch a test report on a Frankford Arsenal Intelidroper that was informative and encouraging that one of those might fit the bill (that "powder calibrate" feature makes it a contender) ...$100 bucks cheaper but doesn't have a couple of features that the Hornady has that I like.

The Gen 6 Lyman is a "no go" for me as the weight platen pan still isn't removable to clean errant powder kernels out from under it.

Ya, I watched what I could find easily I and as I said not much for usage comparison , more just "unpacking & how they go together" type of thing.

I did change directions from the Hornady to the Frankford Arsenal unit tho. There is a good vid on their web site of their powder dispenser that I liked some of the features over my old unit....but the real deciding factor was price difference. I was erroneously pricing the Hornady unit on a US site. When i got the correct info, that Hornady unit was going to land at our door for just under $600 and the Frankford unit did land for just under $400.

The Hornady has a couple features I liked but the Frankford had/has some that make it work for me for the price difference. I loaded 400 rifle rounds with it yesterday and will start a new thread with a "hands on "report for everybody shortly.

I'm in the market for a powder dispenser, I'd like to see your user report.
