I was in my LGS the other day and picked up a set of dies for a 44 Mag/44 Spcl I have coming my way soon. They were "Cowboy Grade Dies", but I didn't think much of it other than a simple marketing ploy on Hornady's part. Once I got home though and did a cursory google search on them it appears they are slightly different and are intended for use with cast lead bullets.
What google has not been able to tell me is if I can still load jacketed bullets with these dies as well, which is where I'm hoping a more experienced reloader can point me in the right direction.
Ultimately I like the idea of being able to load cast as a cheaper alternative for range plinking, but also want to be able to load a nice jacketed round or in the event I end up getting a nice 44 Mag lever gun.
