Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has used/had any experiences with this ammo. Looking to mostly use it in my m305 at the range and possibly use it for whitetail season depending on the feedback I get on here. Any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks
Ben

Yes, have shot the 308, 30.06 and 243 custom lite.

Designed primarily for younger shooters so they aren't taking the full recoil.

At 100 yards or less I didn't even notice a significant difference in point of impact compared to a (regular/typical) round - out at 300 they are 1-2" lower depending on the caliber.

I even took down a six point buck at about 50 yards with the 87 grain SST 243 custom lite - the deer didn't seem to notice 1) I was using a 243 or 2) that it was a "light" load (but to be fair, at 50 yards just about anything would put down Bambi).

The 308 lite runs a 125 grain bullet at a little over 2600 fps (about the speed you would get out of a 180 grain factory load, but obviously with less retained energy), but it's still packing almost 1000 pounds of energy at 300 yards - more than enough for a white tail unless you are trying to shoot a "speck on the horizon".
