If you would google an outfit called Rayner Shine, they are a pretty good supplier in Western Canada for all manner of bullets ,powder
they'll have them.
The ELD match may be also available.
Is there a noticeable difference between the 178gr ELD's and the 178gr A-Max? I'm currently developping a load for the 208grELD, and I have nice load with the 178gr A-Max, great bullet.
Everyone that says somewhere has had them or has them was it the 178 gr I have only been able to find eld-x in 200 or 212gr never the 178gr. I would love to find some 178gr but I ended up with 200gr because it was all I could find.
I called hornady a few days ago they have a big run of them going on now. It doesn't sound like they have shipped any to canada yet (the .30 cal 178's). The factory will ship to korth in canada who will distribute them to retailers. Should be available in canada fairly soon. The 178 amax has shot very well out of my rpr. I am eager to try the eldx's as well .
Finished my last box of amax 140's for my .260 only to find out they don't make them anymore. Picked up a box of 143gn ELD-X's to use in plce of the amax. They have a BC of .625 vs the .585 of the amax so it will be interesting to see what differences there are. Not sure if there were any in .30 cal though.
