Wondering what tools do you guys use for measuring shoulder bump for 223 Remington, I tried using the Hornady headspace comparator like I always do for any other caliber, I noticed that for the bushing they recommend(A330) it is too big for 223, as a result I would often get inconsistent shoulder bumps, does anyone else have this issue? What other headspace comparators are available out there?

I believe mine is the black Sinclair comparator, purchased years ago from Brownells. I can't be certain because it doesn't say a brand on the actual device. I've always used it with my one and only insert:

749-011-473WB
#23 23° Shoulder Bump Gage Insert
Mfr Part: 0910230
Cartridge: 17 Remington, 221 Remington Fireball, 222 Remington, 222 Remington Mag, 223 Remington, 5.56 mm NATO

I also sometimes use a case gage, a Lee Wilson:
749-003-989WB
223 Remington Case Gage
Mfr Part: CG223R
Cartridge: 223 Remington
