Does anyone have any experience with these projectiles seems to be mixed reviews online regarding accuracy? I’ve been told with the equivalent weight SST they shoot to the same POI I have found SST’s to be very accurate but based on the last 2 deer I harvested with them I feel I’d want something a bit more stout for elk size game at high velocities.

Like all cup and core bullets they don't like extreme high velocities if you want a classic mushroom but I took an elk several years ago with a 180 gr sp ( no boat tail) and the elk died promptly. I think the ones lacking the boat tail hold together best from my experience. Misread my bad Interbonds are an entirely different beast.

I run interbonds in my 300 winmag, and my best friend runs them in his 7 rem mag. Zero issues with them in elk. I don’t have them with me to take a pic to show, but weight retention was somewhere in the 70% range on ones we recovered from elk. I haven’t taken a moose with mine(prefer my 300savage for moose) but my buddy has, and no complaints with them on moose either.

Bonded bullets are more designed for magnums and higher speeds.

Only reason for the interbond instead of the Accubond was price point.

Great to hear any issues getting them to shoot accurately?

Ive used 165gr interbonds in
.308 and .30-06 with good success on moose and deer. Mostly use ttsx these days for hunting though.

Out of my buddies 7mm it was super easy, my 300 was a bit more work but overall nothing to complain about. I would chaulk up my 300 more as me trying to make the gun into something it isn’t

I used a 225gr from a 338 WIN MAG at 2800 fps and recovered this in a buck.

I wanted to like the Interbonds; why not, it seemed like a cost effective way to get a bonded bullet, and Interlocks always seemed to shoot and perform.

Trouble is, I never could get them to shoot well enough. It wasn't for lack of trying; when they didn't work in one 7mm I could try them in an armful of other rifles. Ditto for 30 cals. After awhile I gave up; Its not like I owe Hornady anything.

Accuracy isn't everything, but when other bullets of known performance are easy to get along with why bother? I've yet to shoot an animal with one.

My experience as well. Unlike the old-style non-bonded Hornady bullets I found these very hard to work up loads in normally very accurate rifles. I also found on the small number of animals I actually shot with them that while they do hold together weight-wise they "pancake" like hell and produce massive amounts of blood-shot meat on broadside shots.

I also had a problem getting the Interbonds to shoot as well as I would have liked.
I ran the 7mm 139 grain through 3 - 7mm rifles, and none of them shot that bullet
into MOA [mostly 2.0-2.5 moa] Since these rifles all shoot other bullets so much
better, I set the interbonds aside.
The Standard C&C Interlock, OTOH, shoots well in all these rifles - go figure!
Dave.

Awesome bullets.
Been running 154 IB and SST in a 7Bee for 20 years.
Same POI, as advertised. Excellent performance on paper and game.

Happy with interbonds, 150's in a .308 and 165's in a 30-06. Not so good in another -06, but to be expected sometimes

Las tyears moose, 165 gr @ 80-ish yards, hit 3 ribs going in then 3 on the other side, found on outside of front quarter
Nice and fat, retained wht was 151 gr

Price point used to be about 60% that of Accubonds, not so much lately.

I had no issues developing a sub-Moa load in my 270win with the 130gr bullet. Only shot one bear with that load, went in one side came out the other and left a blood trail a blind man could follow.

I liked the fact they were much less expensive than Accubonds . I don't know about now. I found they weren't as accurate as Accubonds, though. But we are dealing with hunting, not target, bullets. Interbonds level of accuracy was perfectly acceptable.
