Got some in 162 grain I want to load in my 7 mm mag for moose
Would they work for moose

I used them on some big mule deer in my 280 and they worked fine, having said that bullets are the cheapest part of the hunt and I like Partitions for bigger game.

I'd worry more about drawing a tag and finding a moose to shoot than if those bullets are up to it.

I’ve shot 165g interlocks in my old 30-06. Hammers deer and bear great.
200 yards passed through both shoulders on a buck.

It was much cheaper when I bought it in 1995

I used these Hdy 162 gr Interlocs in my first 280 Rem in a Browning A Bolt back in 1989 to 1991, with a max load of IMR4350.
5 rounds would go less than 1" @ 100 yards.
Shot a number of deer and moose with at a slightly lower velocity than you will get in your 7mm Rem Mag, and never had a problem with on-game performance.
You should have no worries, as long as you put in the vitals.

I also have shot them out of my 280 for years I killed lots of game with them.(moose sheep deer bears) I would not hesitate at all to use those bullets.

Never had a problem with them in any caliber I have used .24 to .45
