Hornady LeverEvolution?

Any one try this amunition yet, i'm thinking of this in .450 Marlin for my bush/camping rifle. I camp in bear Country alot and just want to keep a gun for saftey out there.

the standard (current) .450 Marlin Factory ammo is a better choice for big nasty things. it flips yogi over just fine.

I've shot a box of the 200 gr 35 Rem ammo, packs a punch but groups great, 1.6 at 100 yds and 2.3" at 200 yds.

It's been quite a while since this was posted. Has this ammo become commonly available yet?

I'd like to find some in .45-70, please let me know if you've seen it stocked anywhere in Canada.

Also, is Hornady selling the Leverevolution bullets for reloading?

No they haven't offered components yet.

I here they have a couple more older calibers coming out though for 2007.

Be nice if they made some 303 Savage.

MikeyT, check russells in calgary. Thats where I've been getting it in .444. Works well, but I find the flat nose has more knock down power! Give it a try, I also found the evolutions to group better.
