I have a ####load of 225 gr interlocs in 338 win mag. have not had much success. best group was 3.5" @ 100 yrd. I tried some noslers and never went back. but I would like to use these up. anyone have a favorite load they would like to share.

I've had the same results wit the 225gr interbonds. After a couple frustrating range visits I put the gun away in the safe for another day.

I really need to get back on the loads for it, it's just havent had the time.

When I owned a 338 my load was 76g Hogdons 4831 and a magnum primer for 2800+fps.
It was accurate and dependable even if slightly hot. I would start low and work up of course.

FC brass , 225 gn Horndady Interlock,Fed 215 Mag primer, 69.5 gn IMR 4350 = 3 shots 1.120" @ 100 yds.
Ruger M77 338WM

( my gun does better with the 225 Acubonds)

I'm shooting 225 gr SST's, but load data should be pretty much interchangeable.

I use CCI #250, Win brass, IMR 4350.

If a fellow started around 67.0 grains and worked up, you'd be fine. Expect your worked up loads to go over 70.0 grains for sure.

Note - I have two Hornady manuals, they are pretty heavily lawyerized, so I would not worry about working up a load that exceed's their manuals, as long as you know what you are doing. Their .375 RUM data, for example, shows 300 grain bullets being pushed a full 150 fps slower than Sierra's data. And I can personally confirm that Sierra's data is very close to real life. Some of Hornady's data is straight up retarded.....

I settled on a mild load of 67.5 grains of IMR4350 for the 225 SST bullet in an R-P case with a CCI-250 spark plug.....MV was a pedestrian 2,715 fps, but grouped at just over 1 inch at 100 yards......The 225 Accubond with the same load was the most accurate I have ever found in my .338 Win Mag....at .75 MOA....

72 gr of re 19 is my go to load for that bullet

I have to agree. I was using this same load with great suscess until bullets started blowing up on deer. I found it didn't matter what I used for a bullet rl19 was my go to powder. If you want to plink with them I found that 10 grains of unique was a good load for that.
