Starting to get more serious about the accuracy of my reloads and am looking at the lock and load system. Any one have any experience with it? Thank you.

Personally, if i were getting more serious about accuracy I would stick to a single stage press and measure every charge on a scale.

And trim every case after sizing....

I don't think going to a LNL will get you more accurate than one at a time

that's my 2 cents

Are you looking at the LNL AP progressive press or the LNL bushings for a single stage press? I have an LNL AP and put the bushing system in my Rockchucker. It works very well and I have found zero difference between using the bushings or screwing the dies in other than it’s so much faster and easier.

Lock and load is a single stage press. The LnL AP is the progressive

Sorry , I am using a rcbs single stage press, the lock and load bushing set for measuring oal length from the ogive, as well as accurate measurement to the shoulder datum.

It is probably worth noting that some older RCBS presses cannot be converted to the LNL bushings. I own a Jr 2 press from the mid 70's (?) that the dies screw directly into the press body with no removable bushing.

I think I need to take a better look because I thought with the anvil base onto my calipers I could do all measurements. And with there special cartridge on the staright handle ,all measurements on bolt actions. Thank you for the suggestions.

Ok I get what you are looking at now. I don’t have one but a friend does and he said it was the best thing he bought. I don’t load rifle so no need for one.
