Hornady neck sizer "broke"

So last nite I was putting my 'new' necksizer to work for some .300WM ctg's,so after I lubed the neck and inside the mouth I worked them thru the die( it took a bit to get the adjustments..Thanks Gilly) when I was necksizing the 8th casing, on the downward stroke it got a little "hard" to then it just gave I then noticed that the expander ball had pulled from the threads and was sitting in the neck of my case..WTF
Has this happened to anyone else with Hornady necksizing or other dies?
So according to thier Warranty,I'll be sending it back

Expect a replacement. I had a very good experience with Hornady's customer service with a buggered up .17 cal expander ball. They sent a new one under their warranty.

Well I just got off the horn with Hornady,they're gonna send me a whole new spindle & expander as well an up-date kit
These really know how to make the customer happy

I broke my RCBS .243 expander ball rod at one time. One phone call they had replacement parts delivered in one week.

Can't comment on Hornady dies. I assume Hornady will replace any broken parts.
