New to reloading, and I have been looking around and reading up. Anyone here use the Hornady reloaders or take advantage of their offer with free bullets? If so how much does it cost? Thanks and this may be the first of many questions:)

Depending on which press you buy, there most expensive kits you get 1000 bullets worth up to about $300 you send in the form and $14.95 for shipping and probally in a year you might see those free bullets... I am waiting for mine but is only been a few months, when I was paying big money for my stores order it took them about 8 months so I dont have my hopes up for getting my free bullets anytime soon.

Everything reloading wise is so backed up and behind is crazy.

I sent out my voucher in Jan. I have called a few times to see if the bullets were shipped. They made no promises. It took several months to get shell plates as well. Based on this, if you want to reload now, buy Dillon. If you dont' mind waiting 6-12 months hornady is ok.

I do believe you'll find that Hornady has been shipping of late. Graf & Sons and MidSouth seem to have product in stock. Those are just the two online dealers I checked. On another thread "rommelrommel" posted he received his bullets, shipped to his home, and though it took awhile I don't think it was 8 months.

Hornady loaders are top quality with a warranty and (reputed) service, second to none. Their prices and "Get Loaded" promotion are giving Hornady a huge competitive advantage right now. They have back orders cause we're lapping em up.

It takes them a bit longer to get 60000 bullets ready then 1000... :D hornady has started to ship things about 3 months back before that it was about an 8 month dry spell.
