Went shooting with my Swiss Arms and tried some 300 yard groups with both irons and optics. All groups were shot with Hornady Steel Match 55gr HP from a bench. I was really impressed with the performance of the ammunition, especially since it is so inexpensive. With irons I achieved a 6.65" group, and with optics I got a 3.25" group. I'm satisfied with both results, but this does go to show that my shooting with iron sights could use improvement.

Yes, went to Stittsville for the day. I'm a member @ EOHC, but they only have a 200 yard range. I also go to Connaught on Wednesdays and shoot with the TR and Swiss Rifle guys.
 
What's the price on the steel cased 55 grain stuff? I bought a bunch of the 75 grain stuff for around 30$/50 rounds. Nice shooting btw.

Seeing as we're both in Ottawa (well I'm on the other side of the river) we'll be bound to run each other at some point in time in the future. Working on completing my current LR build (in no rush) and will be acquiring a new NR blackrifle shotly..wouldn't mind checking that Vortex HD out in person :)
