Hornady Steel Match ammunition

Ive heard some good reviews on this stuff in the states , however im not sure if im sold on the value between these and the brass/nickel case TAP stuff .

50 rounds for 54.00 ? non reloadable cases , im sorry but i have my doubts on that selling .

Theres equivalent ammunition for the same price if your into match shooting however i believe they have a practice ammunition in steel cases that has a nice price tag .

"...non-reloadable...steel cases..." Kind of makes you wonder what Hornady's marketing types were thinking.
"...selling them up here..." Likely nobody. MSRP is too high for non-reloadable cased ammo.

True enough, if you compare it to generic FMJ it is kinda pricey; but it is match ammo, wich typically sells for more than that no?

MSRP for their 308win match (brass) is 32.77$ for 20 rounds
MSRP for their 308win match (steel) is 54.13$ for 50 rounds

MSRP for their 223rem match (brass) is 23.28$ for 20 rounds
MSRP for their 223rem match (steel) is 27.92$ for 50 rounds

I just bought 10 boxes of UMC 223rem for around 9.50$ a box of 20; that comes up to 23.75$ for 50... personally I'd pay the extra 4.17$ to get 75gr BTHP rather than 55gr FMJ. And I consider Hornady to be a couple notches over Rem's UMC to start with.
