Hornady superformance is not designed for long range target shooting man, but it is for hunting, this ammo will shoot flatter, less drift...and less drift means flattler flight path...and flatter flight path means accuracy and more energy at target with no increase in recoil. Try it, it's good stuff. I heard nothing but A+++ feedbacks from guys that used it before. A+++ stuff man!.;) and you get what you paid for, not some cheapA$$ ammo.

Its great for hunting. Pricey, but top notch in my books. I wait all year for my hunts, and spending an extra $10 on a box of 20 rounds is a no-brainier for me!

There is superformance match out there. I have just used the regular hunting superformance ammo it is plenty accurate for my needs. That said it has been well over a year since I bought factory loaded ammo all of it just costs to much for the amount of rounds I put down range. It however is the most accurate factory ammo I have tried even though I dont come close to the advertised speeds.

Hornady ammo is good stuff. I haven't tried the Superformance, but their Custom line was always good and I sent a lot of their Heavy Magnum downrange.

Tight groups with hornady.

It's not magic.

You can do it other ways with other brands.

But I've had good results with hornady.

Of this and zombie max, I got better results with zombie max. Perhaps it's the recipe, or the green tip versus red. Lol

Cost difference is about 8 bucks per box so zombie Max is on my top 4 or 5 off the shelf solutions with my #1 being Norma match from the fine people of Norma out of Åmotfors, Sweden.

Ive had very good results with superproformance. I chrono it and the advertised increases in velocity were pretty close to accurate. Gives my 30-06 similar ballistics to a .300 Win Mag. Its not match grade but its more then minute-of-deer out of my savage. I really like the 150 gr. SST.

I couldn't find it just now on their site, but when it first came out, they claimed the brass was "match" quality.

I use the 150g SST 308 when I am hunting with factory ammo and not my own reloads. I get about 1.5" groups and it does hit the advertised 3000fps out of my Vanguard S1.

I happy with it.

My X-bolt likes it and the 180 grain SST bullet knocks everything on it's a$$. I also notice that my rifle is not as dirty as with other cheaper brands I've shot which means a lot less time cleaning.

I find the exact opposite, my gun is really dirty after using Hornady, far moreso than with any other ammo. But it still shoots the best.

As mentioned, there is Superformance Match ammo using HPBT Match or A-Max bullets. That'd have the word 'Match' stamped on it. .223 and .308 only.
Wouldn't use factory match ammo myself. Too expensive. Hornady match bullets are a different story. No worse than Matchkings price wise, but pricey they be.
