Just wanted to know if anyone has used it and if it is any good? I noticed it only comes in SST unlike the discontinued LM ammo that also came in bonded. Anyone have good success hunting with SST's?

Honestly, I would avoid that thread as it really is a lot of reading about reloading powders but not much hands on if any.

Buy a box and try it out for yourself.

"...Buy a box and try it out for yourself..." Yep. You'll have to do that anyway to find out if your rifle shoots 'em well. More than one bullet weight too.

Also comes loaded with solid copper alloy GMX bullets, Hornady's answer to the Barnes TTSX.

Everything I've read about this new ammo testifies that it delivers as advertised. Looking forward to trying some out myself.

Tried some GMX and SST superformance in 7mm. Tried them in 5 different rifles, Remington 700's and a BAR. Shot well out of all the rifles. Didn't chrony. The POI was where it was supposed to be too, which was good.

I will be grabbing some .243 and .30-06 as soon as it becomes available in my area. Everything I have read has been good, but magazines all have sponsors, thus they say whatever they are paid to say. I agree about getting some and trying it out to see how it works in your specific rifle. Pretty sure those GMX bullets won't shoot the best in all guns.

I tried some 270gr. stuff in the 375 R, very accurate, recoil does seem to be less? Don't have a chrony so couldn't tell you if its any faster.

I have been buying Hornady ammo for my .204 Ruger. I'm happy with it so far. Seems to be really accurate out of my Remingtion LVSF. I Also buy the Hornay ammo for my Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70 and also my Marlin .444P Hornady works for me soo far and i do not work for Hornady.:D Try it, if it shoots well great!! if not, move onto another brand or get into reloading.
