After watching the Magpul Dynamics Precision Shooting DVD, and a couple youtube videos on the Horus reticles, I am sold. Unfortunately, scopes with these reticles are very pricey. Horus Vision sells a couple of cheaper models, which is a possibility but I can't find a Canadian dealer, and online reviews are limited.
Second option is the Bushnell HDMR, which gets mixed reviews and seems very large and heavy. I would like to use this rifle for occasional hunting so weight is a consideration.
Third option is the Vortex Viper PST FFP 6-24 EBR-2C, which is very similar to the Horus reticles, though probably not quite as good. Big advantage is the price and perhaps resale value. Are there any other similar Horus-type scopes of good quality at decent price? What are your thoughts on the EBR-2C reticle?
