Is it just me, or is anyone else extremely weary of the same sort of question over and over again on these forums - someone wants to learn what the regulations are for this or that hunting situation, so they post a question of a very general nature. They do not indicate where they are from or what jurisdiction they are asking about.
I understand that many newbies do not realize that hunting is provincially regulated and each province has its own wildlife act, but general questions are pointless if the poster does not specify province. Most of these posters do not have a location listing on their user ID.
Many, many, many of these queries go through a page or so before the answer to the question is correctly addressed. It would save everyone a lot of useless time and effort if our Moderators would post some instructions as a "sticky" - all questions related to hunting regulations should specify the Province / Territory of the hunt being discussed!
There. Rant over. I feel better now.
