I used to shoot under 1 inch with my two at 100 meters, iron sights... They are worth the $500 or 600 that they go for... I got rid of mine as I wanted to go to rifles that I could hunt with...
I agree. 1" at 100 meters. I like my rifle alot and paid $500 NIB from Dark international. It was $200 less than the going rate at the time.
Its got the 1 in 12 twist so your limited to the 55gr stuff otherwise its a great rilfe. Small hole upper & lower (mil spec) but the flash hider isnt the proper threading to accept standard AR15 hiders neither is the buffer tube to accept collapsable stocks - though some people have done it.
I'd buy one at $800 and still consider myself getting a great deal.
Has anyone put a collapsable stock on a CQ? How did you do it?
I saw a collapsible stock put on a CQ by a friend. Place lower in a wood lined vise and turn it on. Unscrew periodically to clean out the threads, return to screwing it in, and use lots of WD40. Get the stock tool from Questar.
