How are b&t tp9 mags pinned?

I'm looking to buy a tp9 soon. And the common complaint I hear is the mags are too right for 5 rounds.
How are they pinned? Would it be much of a job to loosen off the pin placement?

IIRC they are pinned at the back like everything else. The trouble there is that the mags are plastic. You would have to be very careful if you try to remove them or they may crack.

The mag issue was one of the reasons why I got rid of my TP9.

The other reason was stupidity.
