Im currently shooting .40 s&w out of my glock 22. The ammo is wolf tmj. I got it cheep 1000 rounds for about $220.00. However I'm not getting great accuracy just wondering how big a role the ammo can play. What is the general opinion on this ammo?

Just like rifles, handguns can show a noticeable preference for a particular brand/bullet weight/load over others. As for your accuracy, how good a pistol shot are you? I'm not too proud to admit I am often the weak link when it comes to the accuracy of my handguns.

I have tested various brands of ammo and reloaded ammo. Plus I have tested many flavours of handloads trying both bullets and powders. It shocks me how much difference a bullet or a few grains of powder can make.

If you don't re-load, buy just a box of the various options and see what works best.

hard to test if you are not a good shot.

I can't hit the broad side of a barn with my Glock 21, shooting American Eagle 230 grn FMJ.

Switch to a "cheap" reload (Western Ammunition 230 grn FMJ), and it is like shooting a different gun, with consistent grouping.
