How can a reg civi get their hands on a SW 5946?

As name suggests, i always wanted one of these. Sadly in USA, cheap and easy to acquire for the most part. Any help on the matter be great.

Buy in the USA, along with the appropriate CDN length barrel (if available) and have an importer bring it in for you. A pistol with a 4" barrel is a PITA for someone without a 12/6.

You can buy a 4" prohib model, have it sent directly to a gunsmith to be rebarrelled, then have it sent to you.

It's a bunch of time and money, but it can be done.
