How can I get a .50 Beowulf?

I've been following a lot of avenues trying to get a .50 cal AR in Canada. I've ready that there is a complete ban on the export of .50 cal weapons across the U.S. border so I figured I'd be able to get just the upper and barrel but I still haven't had much luck importing (planned to use irunguns.ca). Does anybody have any advice on how to go about this or where I should look?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Where are you going to get the ammo and mags... Even if you find the upper and what not?

Try Armtac, as far as I know they are the only company that deals with Alexander Arms in Canada.

Mags are not a problem! Ammo/components and uppers are a different story. Armtac had some and now they don't. Hope in time that they get more stuff in.

bought my upper with reloading dies and brass all in 1 go from armtac.....ordered more brass 6 months ago......still waiting, if you are listening armtac

Where do you get the mags then? Not those plastic ones no ones speaks of ? And I stand by my statement see upper post

I bought mine from Armtac. Also the brass, magazines and dies too.


I buy Hornady projectiles.

I use FTX .500" 300 GR #50102

I believe irunguns imports all the magazines for armtac, or use to I think.

Starline has .50 Beowulf Brass, I bet DoubleTap can get you some.

But they do have rivets now. Apparently if you sat on the magazine you could get a sixth round in.
