How can I open the mag tube of the Canuck Enforcer 17 inch with full tube extension?

I searched the forums for this, could not find this topic. So I will ask here.

I've just bought a Canuck Enforcer pump shotgun (2022 production) with 17 inch barrel and full length mag tube extension which is flush with the barrel. When trying to disassemble the shotgun, I was not able to open the mag tube from the front side. The extension part in front of the cap seems to be an integral part of the mag tube itself. It seems to be a one long piece of tube, with some threads made in the middle (for holding down and tightening the barrel). When I unscrew and remove the cap, I see and feel a one-piece long tube.

There is a round shaped piece inside the front end of the tube. But it only moves inward. I can push it in with my finger. But I don't know how I can get it to come out. And I'm not able to remove the spring and follower inside the tube.

Does anyone know how the inside of the mag tube can be accessed, so the spring and follower can be removed/checked/replaced? I will appreciate any pointers very much.

My impression of this shotgun is that it is well made, and smooth. But I can see a number of running changes took place on it through these several years. Images from different dealers are all different, and they are different from what I just got. Maybe some changes are good, and maybe some are not very well thought out?

Here is a picture of the front end of the mag tube:

Interesting. Seems like an odd way to secure the barrel if the tube is one piece. Would have been a lot easier to move the barrel ring forward and thread the end of the tube.

Can you unscrew the entire magazine tube from the receiver?

So some shotguns the tube is threaded and screwed in to the receiver. Some can be quite easily removed by hand, my Mossberg 500 is easily removed. Others, like an Ithaca 37 can be quite difficult and you risk crushing and or twisting it if you use to much force. Others, like an 870, are soldered in place and cannot (rather, should not) be removed.

You have nothing to lose by only using your hand. I’d probably also try a strap wrench but with only moderate force.

That disc at the end push in on one side. It will angle and then rotate it to come out. Many Turkish guns use that method to hold the plug in. The spring won't likely come out that way you will have to unscrew it from the reciever. Once you get the end plate in and out a couple times it becomes very easy to do

The tube is threaded into the receiver, with thread locker as well. If you try to remove it, don't clamp or crush the tube.

Thank you for your posts and suggestions. Now I have some idea: the tube could be threaded into the receiver, and I may be able to turn, unscrew and remove it.

But I guess I won't try to remove the tube for now. The shotgun is now working nicely. I will leave it alone at this moment. Maybe I will try to remove the tube from the receiver when something goes wrong, or when I feel the need to clean the inside of the tube, or need to replace something. The good thing with Turkish shotguns is that they come with EVERYTHING you possibly need, and there is no need to tinker or change anything.
