This may sound like a dumb question, but I know nothing about revolvers.
How can you physically tell the difference between a K Frame revolver against an L Frame one? I'd like to know how both frames look like.

Thanks

Or just look up your model # online or in a book (a method I have resorted to a few times when I wanted to make sure that the grips I was ordering were for the right gun ).

I think all of the "L" Frames have full barrel underlugs and most "K" frames do not (of course the one K frame that I own (Model 17) has a full barrel underlug  ) but generally speaking the most common K frames (e.g. Models 10, 12, 19, 64, 66, etc) lack the full length underlug.

tHE K FRAME IS THE GOOD ONE THE L FRAM SUX.

The "K" is a little smaller and good for carry lots shoot a little the "L" is bigger and not so good for carry but nicer to shoot. And yes I have a few "L" frames. But I LOVE MY EARLY 70's k frames....

(UNLESS ITS THE RARE AS HELL 7 SHOT L FRAME ONE  )

I vote "K" frame... it's the only way to go...
