Yesterday, I went to Saginaw, MI to pickup the S&W M39-2. I got it paid for, the paperwork done, and I asked Kenny what they had that was interesting. Kenny showed me a very nice Ballester-Molina (BM) that was tagged at $350. This pistol was is in a lot better condition the one I own was when I purchased it. It is sad to say the BM did not hold my interest.

Kenny then pulled out what he said was yesterday's best buy. The best buy was a Sistema Colt 1927 with an excellent barrel. I asked what their best price was and I was told $275 (US). We chatted some more and agreed on $325 (US) and this includes a nice bead blue job.

How can one turn down a 1911A1 pistol that was made on Colt machinery and only costs $325? I could not and I will pick it up after the reblue.

Regards,

Richard :D :D

The board, like myself, will have to wait until next month for pictures. I am flat broke and waiting for an IRS return. Yes, this pistol was made in Argentina but it was made on Colt machinery. This is a picture of the one I have now and it will shoot with any 1911A1 I have shot. Regards, Richard :D
