I was wondering if it was possible to make a rimless 7.62x54r by running cut down 9.3x62 brass through a 7.62x54r die set. The 9.3 case is slightly narrower at the base (by a couple tenths of a millimetre). Is this close enough, or would this result in a ruptured case?
