I have a new hog Hunter but it's 10" high at 100 m (.223). There is no mention in the manual or anywhere online that I have found on how to adjust the iron sights. The screw on the side has to be for wind age but it didn't want to move ( centering is okay) so do I just crank the screw on the top and move the rear sight back on the ramp? From the factory the sight is on the 300 mark on the right hand side.
( thanks)

Can you post a pic of the sight?
The one I've seen has 2 screws on top.
The smaller of the two screws loosens the top of the sight from the base (dovetail) to allow for elevation adjustments.
This screw once loosened, allows the top of the sight to slide on the dovetail.

Sound like you want to move the rear sight down.

Sights are not adjusted at the factory. just installed. They expect you to do the adjustment.

I have a bottle of "white-Out" the white paint we used to use to make corrections on typed documents. You can get it at the Dollar store. i use it to make a reference mark on a sight, before I move it, so I have a better idea how much to move it for the next adjustment. When i am done, it scrapes off with the fingernail, or a wipe of solvent.
