got a Webley antique .455 that is registered.
how do i go about de-registering it and getting an antique status letter?
i assume i can do this?
its a mark 6 and i cant get comercial ammo for it.

Mark VI revolvers are made after 1897, and don't qualify for antique status.
Mark I & II Webleys are all antique.
Some IIIs are antique, most aren't.
IVs, Vs and VIs are non-antique.

call RCMP and tell them you want to inquire about antique status letter. They will send you email where you put all the info to provide them with details of that gun as to model, make , serial number they may actually need pictures. Will take two weeks or more... Once you receive proof that it is in fact antique call them again and ask as to what needs to be done next to de-register it as you have the reason and proof.

Commercial ammo is still available for it so again, they wont deregister is my bet, unless u catch somebody who doesnt know what they're doing.
