Seems like a stupid question but there is not one YouTube video on how to properly remove the barrel bands and hand guard. There are some 100 videos how to disassemble a 91/30 but exactly 0 for a M1891 and I don't want to break anything. I don't even know how the hand guard is attached to the rifle, because most guns have the bands hold down the hand guard, but not our M91? Any one have a link?

From what I can see the bands are screwed tight so loosen/remove screws (appears they may be left hand thread from earlier posts). Slide forward band forward and lift off upper hand guard forward away from rear barrel band. If it is like other models the hand guard is just held down by metal/wood journals/sleeves at the ends.
Bands don't necessarily have to be removed from rifle just loosened and slid.

I find it easier to remove a m91's handgaurd than most 91-30's. Plus you don't scrape the finish off every time
