how do I make a semi shotgun legal for hunting?

I am in ontario and I am contemplating buying a mossberg 930. I have pump 870's which I just put plugs in, is this the same for semi's or are the rules different? I know it should be the same, but laws don't always make sense.
 
If you want to be ready in case no plug just pull the one from your 870 and buy a wooden dowel at home depot and cut it to the same length..... but above poster was right... likely has a plug in it...

The real question is, what would happen to you if you magdumped 6 slugs really fast with a semi. Would you be standing or sitting/crying?

I just wasn't sure if a dowel would do it for a semi. I was thinking of how my ar mags have to permanently pinned. This is good to hear.

In Alberta if hunting big game unless the rules have changed you could run the full five or more in a pump but still the same as you in ontario for birds limited to 2+1
