How do I make my DDM4V5 trigger feel like a PE90 trigger?

So I traded my Swiss for a Daniel Defense (my Swiss was a range gun and I never took it hunting so figured why not). This is my first AR, it's pretty cool and all but trigger leaves something to be desired. Anything aftermarket out there that could reproduce the feeling of the amazing Swiss Arms trigger?

Let the Lego begin!

I am also open to suggestions for quality flip up / back up irons for an AR. I have an Aimpoint Patrol mounted at the moment but I will be missing the old irons for sure.

There are drop in triggers that are pretty good. I only shoot with the milspec triggers so I won't comment on or recommend something I don't have any experience with.

As far as irons go, the troy industries irons are pretty good but pricey compared to magpul ones. I use the Troy sights myself.

Get Geissele trigger, I have a Geissele Tricon in my MK18, great grisp 2 stage trigger at around 4.5#. Best mod. I did to my ARs so far, the only down side ~300$ but when I'll have some spare cash I'll get another one for my DD M4V5 for sure. As for the back up sight, you have a Aimpoint so most likely it will never fail, so get a set of MagPul it's cheap and will do the job just in case. If you want a quality iron sight get a set of Troy.

Step one: Contact Arms East. Step two: Buy geissele SSA trigger. Step three: install trigger shoot the #### out of the gun because you now have one of the best triggers made!

I like the look of the flat trigger on the SDE, how does that trigger feel compare with the SSA? I am looking to get one of these in the near future.

I have the Flat Trigger( SSA dynamic) for my 2 AR's. Always prefer flat face triggers than the curve, even with my pistols 1911,2011open. Flat triggers gives you the feel of lighter pull and indexing your trigger finger at center of the face is not mandatory , so it feels faster.

Yeah, as others have stated it is hard to go wrong with the Geissele triggers. I put one on my AR and everyone who tried it thought it was fantastic. So nice that my wife badgered me for one for her AR. (I'll add the caveat that Longshot tried it and thought it was a bit on the light side for a service rig, but I do have mine adjusted very light.)

ETA: And yes, Armseast. Walter is awesome.

I have JP, Timney and Geissele and Timney is the best for the money IMHO.

I got mine from a site sponsor for much less than my super dynamic 3 gun. The Timney is light, creep free, zero pre-travel and feels like a million bucks. JP is also very good, but I think it is lighter than they claim and I don't find it as crisp as the Timney. The Geissele is great, but I feel it was a lot of money.

Does your Timney trigger light strike 5.56 rounds? because the geissele trigger is gtg with civilian or mil-spec ammo.

Geissele SSA is closest to 2 stage Swissarms trigger, but a bit lighter.

SSA-E is TOO light if you plan to run and gun with the rifle
