You have to apply for access. Depending on your post history, largess of the moderators and moon phase angle it can take a while.

In a nutshell - if you don't want to be a part of the group, you can't sell or purchase items on the site. This isn't Kijiji......

Yes, you have to apply for access to the equipment exchange to be able to look at it or post anything for sale.
I just joined gunnutz recently and was also frustrated with figuring out how it all worked. But, if you CAREFULLY read everything and find the link to apply it all works out- eventually. And btw- no one tells you that you’re approved to access the EE. You have to keep checking back to see if access works for you.
In many ways it’s a good system because it encourages participation in the discussions on the forums, builds credibility, and eventually provides for a pathway to buy and sell firearms and accessories from other private individuals.
