Some questions about sighting in my rifle Stag-15 Model 1 (removable carry handle) I have a great familiarity with A1 type sights (C7 and Norinco CQ) but not A2, and Carry Handle sights seem to be different still.
OK so I’ve read, thoroughly, the instructions for 25m zeroing on A2 sights and I’ve got a couple of questions:
1. The instructions say to adjust the rear elevation to the lowest setting and then “one-click” up. My rifle has a “Z” marked at “two-clicks” up. Should I be on the “Z”? – seems intuitive that I should be, but the instructions say “one-click”. What gives?
2. Why are my sights marked 6/3 and not 8/3 as in the instructions?
3. What does 6/3 stand for (I know the three hundred meter part but what about the “6”? – is it 600m when I come full circle, back to the 6/3 setting?
4. How well will a removable Carry Handle retain zero if removed and then reinstalled?
Please enlighten me, for my equipment is currently out-smarting me.
