how do you date a brownig trombone?

I have a Trombone also and have run across the same problem...no letters, just numbers. I just did a quick averaging of the total number produced against the years of production and came up with it being made somewhere in the mid to late 40s.

How do you date it? Maybe dinner and a movie? Feeling her up at a range session the first time out might be a little soon for her.

damn, someone beat me to it.

i remember circa 1979 or so my high school teacher brought in (to the history class he taught!) his Browning trombone and an antique pistol he also owned.

try doing that nowadays....
