Is that the regular Czech wood? Possibly refinished and stained as all the original wood I've seen is much blonder.

yes it is mine. Now prepare for a surprise It is a good old beaver puke hand guard set, that i sanded very smooth and coated with several layers of different color stains and sealer to create a wood grain look... so far i'm very happy, it seems to be a very durable coating.

very nice Dmitri, yes do tell the process you did to make it look wood grain like. I would l,ike to try it out aswell. I have sanded a beaver barf down before but it still looks chip board just sanded.

That is what I was thinking 2. Dmitri has been long over due a set I said I would get him a while ago. I am still trying to finish them up, but time will tell.
