How do you mount a sling on an AR-15

My M4 has a free floating Picantinny rail and has no sling swivel up front.

How do I mount a sling on it then.

Any advantage of getting a 2pt sling that Dave Surplus has ?

Any help would be appreciated.
 
You can either
1) Get a single point sling attachment.

2) Do #1 and get a rail mounted mount.

3) Get a rail mount alone.


KAC, CQD/Deiter make rail mount sling mounts (KAC's is a QD push button - while the CQD is a fixed loop)
 
Nighthawk...I've got a front sling attachment that clamps straight onto a Picatinney rail so you can use a 2-point sling (or a 3-point for that matter)...you're welcome to borrow it for the weekend.
I might even sell it to you if you get "attached" to it... :lol:

Edited to add: It's an Armalite "Alostyr" Std. Swivel.
